About SKILLZWITHIN

SKILLZWITHIN is a community led organisation who creates and gives empowering opportunities to individuals who are unemployed, from low-income families, at risk of offending, and young people from deprived communities through;

Creating a safe environment where people can build their confidence, self-esteem and upskill on their abilities.

Delivering training and workshops with a strength base approach enabling all participants to achieve and enhance their skills and abilities which they can use within employment and further their education or career.

Creating opportunities for young people to build a trusted network of like-minded people where they can access latest information and gain different perspectives, from who they can build business and career connections, and develop long lasting personal relationships.

Delivering social activities for young people to engage in the local areas to help minimise the risk of them engaging in antisocial behaviour, criminal activities, or reoffending, through sports, creative arts, personal development, and life skills.

Creating employment opportunities to individuals that are unemployed, at risk of offending, have learning support needs and are or on a low income who are talented and creative with a lack of direction of where to start their career.

Developing young people’s social development and interaction, life skills, that will include cooking, budgeting, and self-management, which helps to prepare them for independence.
